After being together with my husband for 12 years two things have remained strong: our foundation in Jesus Christ and understand that patience and gentleness is of the essence. We do not always agree on everything and by far want to talk calmly through everyone of our flaws. However being gentle with each others short comings and patient that the LORD will fix my husband is of essence (LOL). For real though patience is KEY! It's never perfect and glorious all the time... so those times that are not picture perfect you give to the LORD you pray together as a couple and rely on Him to guide your marriage.
